Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure and certification in the state of practice.
  • BLS and ACLS certification within 60 days of hire/transfer.
