Job SummaryThis role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and supervising nursing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
• Directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
• Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
• Performs and fulfills all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
• Responsible for knowing the Hospital's emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
