Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 8-hour day shifts (08:00 – 16:00) -
Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1860–$2000 per week -
Call Requirement: Yes (2 late stays/week, 1 on-call/week, rotating
weekend call every 3 weeks) - Weekend Requirement: Yes - Float
Requirement: As needed within RN skillset - Charting System: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active
Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state) - BLS
certification (American Heart Association required) - Minimum 1
year of recent Operating Room RN experience - Previous travel nurse
experience preferred - Experience with Cerner electronic charting
preferred - Ability to take call and work weekends as scheduled
Operating Room RN Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care in
the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and comfort during
all surgical procedures - Assist with diverse surgeries, including
open heart, neurosurgery, appendectomy, orthopedic,
cholecystectomy, subdural hematoma, and hernia repairs -
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical
technologists to ensure high-quality clinical support - Float to
other perioperative areas within your nursing skillset as needed -
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR -
Participate in on-call rotation, late stays, and weekend shifts as
