Travel Experience, Previous Cerner Experience Description: Start
weekly on Wednesdays. Shift times are from 0800 to 1600. On-call
requirements include at least one shift per week. Weekend call is
required every three weeks. Float requirement is as needed based on
skill set. Common diagnoses and treatments include appendicitis,
bone fractures, cholecystitis, subdural hematoma, and hernias. The
facility has 17 operating rooms and 2 cystoscopy rooms. The nurse
to patient ratio is determined by the number of procedures.
Charting is done using Cerner. Scrub color is navy blue. Special
procedures include open hearts and neuro surgeries. Rotating
weekend call is part of the schedule.
