working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in
Brownsville, Texas, 78526! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

12 Experience: Minimum 4 years of NICU experience License: RN
Certifications: NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of NICU
Level III - IV experience Description: Facility is looking for an
experienced registered nurse for the NICU. Candidates must have a
minimum of 4 years of NICU experience. The unit has 10 NICU beds
and 8 stepdown beds. There are 20 staff members on the unit. Day
shift consists of 1 charge nurse and up to 4 registered nurses.
Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and up to 4 registered
nurses. Patient ratios are 1:3 or 1:1 depending on care needed.
Equipment includes HFNC, vents, SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, PIV,
feeding pumps, and IV pumps. The EMR used is CPN/Meditech.
Candidates must have NRP and STABLE certifications. Typical
procedures performed on the unit include intubations, chest tubes,
PICC lines, and central lines. The best personality fit for this
role is someone who works well with others and is proactive.
Minimal weekend shifts are required, specifically 6 weekend shifts
per month. The dress code is royal blue scrubs. 5 Benefits of
