Surgical Tech Location: Harlingen, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: OR Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 1300-2130 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Not specified Certifications: Certified Surgical Technician Must-Have: - Proficiency in aseptic technique in the operating room - Ability to set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases - Capable of scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures - Skills in breaking down cases at the end of the procedure - Experience in setting up the operating room and supplies for the day's schedule Description: The Surgical Technologist is responsible for maintaining aseptic technique in the operating room. They prepare and set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies needed for surgical cases. The role includes scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures. Surgical Technologists will break down cases at the end of each procedure. They are responsible for setting up the operating room and supplies needed for the day's and next day's schedule.
