Job Quick Facts* Specialty: Critical Care Medicine* Facility Location: 20 miles to Matamoros, Mexico* Board Requirement: BC/BE* License Requirement: TX* EMR: Cerner* Service Setting: Inpatient* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours Only* Coverage Period:-- Dec. 27, 2018 - Jan 3, 2019* Shift/Schedule:-- 7 AM - 7 PM* Reason for Need: Vacation* Patient Volume: Between 3 and 6 admissions per day/per shift* Procedures:-- CRRT (Renal Replacement), hearts, balloon pumps, drains, trauma-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- IM, FM, PULM, CARD, ANES residencies* Critical Care fellowship* Pay Rate: TBD* Other Description:- 16-bed MICU, capacity level 90%, monthly admits 125- 8 bed CCU, capacity level 70%, monthly admits 60- 10-bed Neuro Trauma ICU, capacity level 90%, monthly admits 75- In winter months all units are open (34 beds)- In summer months only MICU and Neuro Trauma ICU units are open (26 beds)
