GENERAL SUMMARY -The ideal candidate for this project needs to be very dependable, and have a minimum of three (2) years' experience in providing administrative support in a human resources department in a medium-sized or larger organization. - A candidate should have administrative experience in the human resources functions (HR Administrative, HR filing, employee relations, people skills, benefits, payroll, HR related systems). Has knowledge of HR compliance with the FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, EEOC, ADAA, workers compensation and other federal and state employment laws. - Preference for candidates with some public relations experience, and in establishing relationships, and exceptional positive communication. - -MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESHR Administrative -Support:

  • Coordinate site HR training presentations, including scheduling, preparing the training room. Provide support to HR Manager related to on benefits questions and issues.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADAA, HIPPA, EEO, workers compensation and other federal and state employment laws. This includes updating HR Federal Compliance Posters.
  • Be cross-trained and perform as needed in all HR functions that support HR Managers tasks for high volume and overall team success.
  • Assist in the evaluation and development of HR Admin work processes and practices. - -
  • Respond to questions on general company HR procedures.
  • Gather, organization, sort, and file various documents, forms, reports, etc.
  • Must be knowledge and accurate in all HR systems.
  • Completes the following HR Admin duties with accuracy and within the HR deadlines: - WOTC Hiring Process, ADP & Roster File Numbers, ADP Information Verification & Employee Direct Deposit, Employee Tax Documentation, Second Part of I-9 Process, completion of - E-Verifies, Badge Processes, New Hire Badge Orders, Badge Replacements (Working with Security), ADP Self Portal Registrations for Enrollment, Entering Corrective Levels into SharePoint, Termination Documentation preperations, Work Orders in Track-IT, Supervisor Changes, Salary Changes, Role Position Changes, Training Graduation Changes, and Name and Personal Employee Changes.-cbJob Requirements:SKILLS QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to perform these operations using units of the United States Dollar (USD). Ability to calculate figures and amounts and work with statistical concepts. -REASONING ABILITYAbility to understand and carry out basic instructions. The strong ability to pay attention to detail and commitment to complete high-quality workloads in a timely manner. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing important issues.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
      • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 2 -Years related Experience; Bachelor's Degree or working towards college degree a plus.
      • Human Resources, administrative, and/or payroll training; or equivalent combination of education and experience -AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT OF 1990 (ADA) and its AMENDMETS ACT OF 2008 (ADAAA) SPECIFICATIONSPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPerform primary sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer sitting for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. - -WORKING CONDITIONSMust be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate-controlled private office with minimal noise. -MENTAL AND/OR EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate the highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising the highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
