Certified Mobile Notary Service (https://certifiedmobilenotaryservice.com) is seeking for someone to fill the position of a Real Estate Closer I to work in a telecommute capacity in the U.S. DUTIES: Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Meet or exceed the monthly performance goals to include production, quality compliance and member satisfaction. Responsible for sending the prior to close packages to title companies and attorneys to initiate closing collaboration. Confirms fees input by processor are accurate, makes necessary updates and prepares Closing Disclosure. Effectively collaborate with internal and external partners to obtain required acceptance of CD. Responsible for balancing and ordering the wire. Prepare and generate state specific final loan closing package in accordance with established investor guidelines and regulatory requirements. Review all final signed closing documents for accuracy and completion. Ensure that all of the required documentation complies with state, federal, investor, and regulatory guidelines. Responsible for completing the funding checklist, confirming loan meets required guidelines and procedures and then provides funding authorization to the closing agent. Adhere to established Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Proactively manage your workload to meet the members close date and preserve the member and closing agents experience. Serve as the primary point of contact with closing agents to communicate status and address file specific questions. Collaborate with internal business partners to resolve loan level issues Initiate outbound calls or emails to title companies to obtain all documents required for closing and funding. Provide continuous feedback on opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency. Successful and timely completion of all compliance courses and mortgage product training and assessments, as required by the business. Share the best practices with the team related to increasing efficiency and achieving quality targets. QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 or more years of mortgage closing related experience required. PREFERRED: Experience closing VA Loans. MINIMUM SKILLS: Proven working knowledge of TRID and RESPA regulations. Detailed working knowledge of state specific closing requirements. Successful completion of first mortgage closing proficiency assessment and or certification may be required. Strong professional written and verbal communication skills. Experience with direct communication with customers, members, or consumers. Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work from home. Computer and Internet. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/CONDITIONS: General office environment. Some lifting and bending required.
