Education: Required - 4 year bachelor's or undergraduate degree
from an accredited program/university, preferably in one of the
following areas: social work, psychology, criminal justice,
sociology or related field of study
Preferred - Graduate degree from accredited program/university
in a related field
Experience: Required - 1 year related experience and/or
Preferred - 2 plus years related experience and/or training
Supervises: Case Managers
Summary: The lead case manager is responsible for using sound
professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality case
management services and the swift reunification of the service
population and their family/sponsor(s) while maintaining compliance
with established state and federal standards and requirements. To
successfully perform this job, the employee may be expected to
perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodations in

Communicate with families and/or prospective sponsor(s) within
the specified timeframe to discuss the role of BCFS HHS and the
Process the sponsor information necessary for reunification
within the required timeframe.
Actively participate in case staffing meetings with the
Administration for Child and Family, Office of Refugee
Resettlement/Department of Children's Services Field Coordinator
and follow-up with recommendations. Approved (ADA) Rev.4/11/19
Meet with each assigned child one time between Sunday and
Saturday and as requested by child. 5. Meet all deadlines required
by program supervisor and federal partners

Review completed family reunification packets for accuracy and
follow up with sponsor to discuss any issues identified.
Complete and submit all relevant forms to the Department of
Children's Services with a copy of Family Reunification Packet.
Receive approved interim Verification Release Form, review with
child and obtain child's signature.
Prepare sponsors to successfully complete and sign all required
forms and documents. Forward original documents to Executive Office
of Immigration Review (EOIR) with a copy to Department of Homeland
Complete and submit notice to Executive Office of Immigration
Review when Contractor issues approval to release the child.
Assist children during departure/reunification, as needed.
Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and
Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and
activities that promote professional growth and development.
Compile, prepare, submit and maintain accurate records, files,
forms, statistics and additional information in accordance with
agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.
Review and sign children's records in accordance with agency

Credentials, Skills and Abilities:
Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the
position including but not limited to
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens and
maintain emotional control and professional composure at all
